Mark Gomez

A Topeka native, Mark Gomez works in Business Development for BlueMark Energy, where he manages a plethora of accounts in his home state of Kansas. Before getting his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University, Mark went to Coffeyville Junior College where he got his Associates degree as well. From there, he began his professional career at Walt Garner Associates as a sales representative in 1984. In 1990, he took another position in sales at Steve Edwards for a year before moving to Kid Stuff, where he was the National Sales Manager as well as performed an advertising role. In 1996, he moved to Court Furniture and worked as the Commercial Sales Manager there. In 1997, he began his energy career at Western Resources, which was soon bought by OneOK, and he took on the Senior Business Development Manager role there. 2012 oversaw his move to Constellation where he continued his work in commercial sales. Finally, in 2019, he was hired at BlueMark as a member of the Business Development Team. Mark also has a myriad of awards throughout his career, including three consecutive “#1 Salesmen in the Country” awards from 1984 to 1986. Additionally, he was the State of Kansas Sales Manager. Aside from coaching his kids’ sports teams, Mark also has leadership experience at OneOK where he assisted in training new sales associates.
